Blues is a New Zealand rugby union team in Auckland, played annually in the Super Rugby competition. Blues is one of the most successful teams in Super Rugby history. They won the first two seasons in 1996 and 1997 and then in 2003. Furthermore, they were finalists in 1998 and semifinalists in 2007 and 2001.

In 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa, Blues played eight games from which they won 4 games and four losses. In 2021, super rugby Trans-Tasman played five games and won all those five games, and was the defending champion of Trans-Tasman.
