The third round of the 2025 Six Nations Championship will take place between Wales and Ireland at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, on Saturday, February 22. In the first game of the 2022 championship, Ireland defeated Wales by a score of 29-7. During the 2023 Championship, Ireland won over Wales by a score of 34-10 with a bonus point. In 2024, Ireland again won the match from Wales by a score of 31-7.
Since their first encounter in 1882, Wales and Ireland have played 135 rugby test matches against one another. As for the results, Wales has dominated with 70 victories against Ireland's 58. Furthermore, seven games have ended in ties between the two countries.
