One of France's oldest large stadiums is Toulouse Stadium. It was initially built for the 1938 FIFA World Cup and now serves as Toulouse FC's home as well as Stade Toulousain and the French national football team.
The Stadium de Toulouse has had three major reconstructions since its inception. It has also hosted games at various important athletic events, including the 1998 FIFA World Cup, the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2016. It's also been the site of important concerts and rugby league test matches.
